cabin fever
Cabin Fever is an interior paint brand built around a feeling most people can find their way back to, even if they can't quite name it. The inspiration is personal — long stretches of childhood spent on the mountains and lakes of New Hampshire, in spaces that were worn-in rather than designed, where the light came through old windows at a slant and nothing matched but everything fit.
The brand draws from that specific texture of nostalgia: the smell of a wood stove in a cold room, a screen door that didn't close all the way, paint that had been touched and lived with for decades. There's comfort in imperfection, and Cabin Fever tries to bottle that.
The palette and the identity are shaped by genuine longing — not the curated version of rustic, but the real thing. The goal was to create something that would land emotionally even for someone who has never set foot in a New Hampshire cabin. The feeling of warmth, of being somewhere unhurried, of a room that asks nothing of you — that translates. It doesn't require the memory, only the openness to receive it.
